I just whipped up a scene for a story I've entitled 'Nostalgia', spurred on by the announcement of the Dr and Clara set.
I'll make this in the future at some point and upload it to YouTube, but in the meantime, here is the scene I've written:
INT. OLD TARDIS CONSOLE ROOM
Clara is looking around the old console room.
DR OOV
Clara! Look what I found!
The Dr enters, wearing his old top hat and furry coat
DR
Haha! So many good times in this old thing!
CLARA
Aren’t you hot in that?
DR
Oh please, I’m always hot!
CLARA
Don’t flirt, it doesn’t suit you.
DR
My wife’ll disagree.
He begins to look around too.
DR
Ah, memories.
CLARA
What is this place?
DR
My old TARDIS console room
CLARA
Hmm. I don’t like it.
DR
No-one seems to.
The console bleeps
DR
Ha. Still in action, I see. Oh. Oh no.
CLARA
What is it?
The Dr spins the control screen around to Clara and we see it says: ‘APPROACHING BLACK HOLE. DESTRUCTION IMMINENT’
DR OOV
Geronimo!
CUE OPENING TITLES
INT. OLD TARDIS CONSOLE ROOM
CLARA
What are we going to do?
DR
Um… reverse the polarity of the neutron flow?
CLARA
Do that, then!
DR
We can’t
CLARA
Why not?
DR
Because that’s a clever line! Surely you know that by now!
CLARA
Oh my god… I’m going to die!
DR
And I’m going to regenerate! Not now! I love this face too much!
The ship shakes and The Dr falls onto the console, and the cloister bell rings.
DR
Oh. Great.
CLARA
What?
DR
I think I may just have activated the self destruct system.
CLARA
We’re going to die, anyway!
DR
Yes, but an explosion of a TARDIS this size could destroy the galaxy!
CLARA
And what galaxy are we in, then?
The Dr trips up but manages to hold on to the screen.
DR
Oh, guess which!
CLARA
Fantastic(!)
Graphics shot - The TARDIS spins out of control and into a black hole. We hear the Dr and Clara screaming.
